Cheyne founded Yale Capital Corporation in 2004 after managing portfolios for five years with the Equities Division of Goldman, Sachs & Co., from 1994 to 1999, and five years with Merrill Lynch’s Private Advisory Group, from 1999 to 2004. He received his master’s degree in Public & Private Management from Yale University. Cheyne has specialized in MLP management for some 20 years, perhaps the longest tenure of any manager in this space. Furthermore, Cheyne offers specialized knowledge as a tax-efficient manager of domestic and international exchange-traded investments. His primary academic influence, Mr. David Swensen, manager of one of the best revered institutional portfolios–the Yale University Endowment Fund–inspired Cheyne’s approach to endowment-style investing.
Name: Stan Black
Position: Managing Director
Stan accumulated over a decade of experience in the investment advisory and brokerage industry before joining Yale Capital in 2013. His roles have included portfolio management, analysis, derivative trading, performance reporting, billing and client relationship management. He graduated from the Honor’s College at the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration and obtained his master’s degree from the University of Alabama where he also taught the junior level finance course as part of his fellowship duties. Stan is a registered Investment Advisor Representative.
Name: Andrew Hollister
Andrew joined Yale Capital in 2007 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Texas in Mathematics and Economics. Andrew provides analytical support and has developed excellent reporting and security research skills. He also provides a high level of service as a prime relationship point for clients and prospective clients, and supports Cheyne Pace in portfolio management duties. Andy is a Series 65 registered Investment Advisor Representative.
